About Dr Cross 


Doctor Cross is a fully trained and certified specialist in the area of Allergy and Clinical Immunology. He took his medical degree at McGill University in Montreal. His three-year residency training was in Internal Medicine, first at the Montreal General Hospital and then at St Paul’s Hospital in Vancouver. He then spent over three years at the National Jewish Center for Respiratory Diseases and Immunology, in Denver, Colorado, where he obtained fellowship training in Allergy and Clinical Immunology. The National Jewish Center (now known as National Jewish Health) is an internationally renowned hospital that treats patients from all over the United States. While there Dr Cross treated adults and children with a wide range of allergic and immunologic disorders.

Dr Cross has satisfied all the requirements for certification by, and fellowship in, the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in both the fields of Internal Medicine and Allergy and Clinical Immunology. He was also certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine as well as the American Board of Allergy and Clinical Immunology.

Dr Cross is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Calgary. He takes part in training of residents and fellows rotating through Respiratory Medicine.  Dr Cross may ask individual patients to allow such trainees to participate in their care.
